An important part of Hospice of the Valleys services is to provide training and education to all Health and Social Care professionals who care for patients with palliative care needs.

By educating health and social care staff on the principles and practice of palliative care we are ensuring that the work force responsible for providing patient care are able to deliver a high standard of palliative care.

We offer planned student placements for social work, medical, nursing and complimentary therapy students through the Universities of Cardiff, South Wales and Cardiff Metropolitan.
